Our Mission
Our mission is to create a safe and nurturing environment that fosters social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth while promoting a positive self-image and a love of learning. We aim to build a strong foundation for the future academic success of our young students. Our goal is to support and develop children’s strengths and potential within a child-centered, multicultural environment inspired by nature and responsive to our children's needs. We uphold the highest standards in early childhood education because our kids deserve nothing less.

The Reggio Emilia Approach
Our educational philosophy is grounded in the Reggio Emilia approach to education. This approach is based on the belief that children, regardless of their age, are natural learners when placed in a supportive environment that fosters the pursuit of their own interests. It is a pedagogy characterized as student-centered and constructivist, utilizing self-directed, experiential learning in relationship-driven settings. The program is built on the principles of respect, responsibility, and community, encouraging exploration and discovery through a self-guided curriculum. The goal of the Reggio approach is to teach children how to utilize symbolic languages, such as painting, sculpting, and drama, in their everyday lives. Developed after World War II by psychologist Loris Malaguzzi and parents in the villages surrounding Reggio Emilia, Italy, it derives its name from the city.
The Reggio Emilia philosophy is founded on the following set of principles:
- Children must have some control over the direction of their learning.
- Children must learn through experiences of touching, moving, listening, and observing.
- Children develop relationships with other children and with materials in the world, which they must be allowed to explore.
- Children should have multiple ways and opportunities to express themselves.
